You know that part of the Common Core standards is helping students learn to persevere with complex problems. However, it seems like once you finally get to those problems students give up quickly or don’t even get started. Maybe you usually never get to those problems because students are working the pre-requisite basic skills. The word problems just seem to challenging and your students just don’t have the confidence to work through the challenge.
I know friend, I’ve been there. This is complex work to help our students build both the confidence and the math skills to work through problems with perseverance. I’m here to help you!
