hey there friends & fam!

i wrote a book!

And even if you’re not a teacher or in education, there are lots of ways you can help me and help this book become a success.

I'd love your help... here's how 👇🏼

ways YOU can help my book launch:

1)PREORDER THE BOOK

Preorder is available now (and really helps my chances of becoming a best seller!), but the book won’t ship until October. Choose from the retailers below:

     Amazon

     Barnes & Noble

     Bookstore.org (independent & carbon neutral)

     My Publisher (Routledge, Stenhouse)

2) GIFT A COPY! 🎁

Buy two copies (on Barnes & Noble to help my best seller status and get free shipping!), one for you and take the other to the elementary school in your neighborhood. This book is like a business cards for my education consulting biz.

Just dropping off a copy at the local school principal’s office would be a tremendous help!

3) CONNECTIONS: 📺 🎤 👩🏼‍🏫

Think about potential connections you might have that could help get the word out about the book. For example:

Higher Education:

Do you know anyone in higher education (university or community college level)?
This book would be perfect for teachers in their elementary education program. (This is a HUGE goal of mine)

Media:

Do you know anyone at local news stations, newspapers, or even national media who you could connect me with for an interview? Any media exposure helps even if we don’t live in the same area! Here is a document with some ideas for you to copy and paste.

Education Contacts:

If you know someone who is a teacher, principal, district leader, or office manager… please introduce us. HelloMonaMath@gmail.com send a quick introduction email, the more connections the better!

4) LEAVE A REVIEW! 🙏🏼📒

When your book arrives, PLEASE leave a review on Amazon. Your review can be simple, something like “Great book! Solid ideas” is all you need to put. My goal is 100 reviews by the end of launch week!

This is legit, guys.
Here's what one of the GOATS in math education said about my book...

“Mona Iehl’s own transformation as a math teacher serves as inspiration and encouragement for teachers who are committed to enriching the mathematics learning experiences of their students.
The five steps of the Word Problem Workshop (WPW), along with the norms and practices for building community, provide a guide for creating classrooms where students think, reason, and solve problems. The examples bring WPW to life and help teachers imagine what their own classroom could become.
A must have for any elementary teacher ready for a change!”
